The travel channel did a list of the best beaches in 2006 and Myrtle Beach ranked in the top 10! Being grouped with luxurious and exciting getaways like Maui, Hawaii and South Beach Florida is a great compliment. We’re categorized as one of the most children friendly beaches with all of our shows and different amusements. For all those people who love long walks along the shore, we also ranked high for our large beach area with 60 miles of white sand.
Also in the Golf Digest, Myrtle Beach was ranked number one in golf home communities in the U.S.! They stated that with the reasonable prices and an average of 290 playable days out of the year ranks us the highest. Recognizing popular golf communities like Barefoot Resort & Golf and Tidewater Golf Club & Plantation and a newer private community like the Grande Dunes. The Grand Strand is definitely classed as a golfer’s paradise!
We’re working on a new pre-construction development in the Cherry Grove area of North Myrtle Beach called Sea Mountain Villas. With only 33 units available, this community offers one bedroom to 4 bedroom tropical themed units with luxury features such as granite countertops and stainless steel appliances and sinks in kitchen and cultured marble vanity tops and whirlpool tubs in the master bath. Just blocks from the beach and conveniently located close to restaurants, golf, shows and many other attractions of Myrtle Beach and North Myrtle Beach.

Happy Holidays
Thanksgiving has come and gone and I think that everyone can say they have a stomach full. It is now time to get prepared for the busy holiday season, whether it is helping with a favorite charity for children, sending holiday greeting cards filled with gratitude or continuing to work hard in our fast-paced office, we will definitely remain full of activity.
Travis just returned from his vacation in Daytona, Florida. He said that he found a difference in the beach than the one here. During high-tide in Daytona, there is no open beach area; however, Myrtle Beach still has a great amount of beach that still remains. Lounging and beachside strolls can occur anytime of the day!
We have steadily been working on our next newsletter. We’re hoping to collect enough informative material to help current clients or prospects gather an understanding of the market and interesting events of Myrtle Beach. We like to keep the newsletter interesting, by also adding fun facts about the area.
On December 2nd, Larry and Linda are heading up to Camp LeJune to help with Toys for Tots. This heart-felt organization dedicates time to help make less fortunate children have a merrier Christmas by delivering truckloads of toys! What an immense feeling of warmth that they get when they see the smiles on the children’s faces. They will be leaving the beach early that morning with the donation of toys from co-workers, friends and themselves for a long memorable day.
Well, that’s it for today. If you or someone you know are interested in buying or selling real estate in Myrtle Beach please feel free to contact us at: 877-559-1755 or by email at: willisteam@scbeachrealestate.com
